Collision Repair in Lanham, MD
From a parking-lot fender bender to a hard hit on the Beltway, we repair accident damage so your car looks and drives the way it did before.
Accident damage, repaired right
Collision damage is often worse than it looks. A cracked bumper cover can hide a bent reinforcement bar, broken brackets or a pushed-in radiator support. We take the damaged area apart, find everything that was affected, and repair it properly instead of just covering it up.
What we repair
- Front-end and rear-end collision damage
- Side impacts, doors, fenders and quarter panels
- Hoods, trunk lids and tailgates
- Bumper covers, reinforcements and brackets
- Headlights, taillights and grilles
- Paint refinishing and color matching on every repaired panel
How a collision repair works
It starts with a free estimate. If you're going through insurance, give us your claim number and we'll work with the adjuster. Once the repair is approved we order parts, do the body work, paint and refinish the panels, then reassemble and check everything before you pick the car up.
If we find hidden damage after taking the car apart, we document it and send it to your insurance company as a supplement, so you aren't left paying for damage that wasn't visible at first.
Collision Repair questions
Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In Maryland you choose where your car is repaired. Your insurance company can suggest a shop, but the choice is yours.
Why can the final cost be different from the first estimate?
The first estimate covers the damage we can see. Once the car is taken apart we sometimes find bent brackets or other hidden damage. When that happens we document it and get it approved before doing the extra work.
Will you be able to tell the car was in an accident?
That's the goal. Panels are repaired or replaced, then painted and blended to match the rest of the car so the repair doesn't stand out.
