Insurance Claim Repairs in Lanham, MD
Accidents are stressful. We work with your insurance company so you don't have to chase the adjuster yourself.
You choose the shop
Your insurance company may suggest a shop, but in Maryland you have the right to choose where your car is repaired. You can bring it to Seabrook Auto Body no matter who your insurer is or who was at fault.
How an insurance repair works
- File a claim with your insurance company, or the other driver's if they were at fault, and get a claim number.
- Bring your car in or email us photos. We'll write up the damage.
- We work with the adjuster on the estimate and send them any hidden damage we find once the car is apart.
- We repair the car and let you know when it's ready.
What to bring
- Your claim number
- Your insurance company and policy information
- The adjuster's name and contact info, if you have it
Insurance Claims questions
Do I have to pay a deductible?
If you file on your own policy, your deductible usually applies and is paid when you pick up the car. If the other driver's insurance is paying, there's usually no deductible for you.
Do I need to get the estimate from my insurance company first?
No. You can come to us first. We'll write the estimate and work with your adjuster from there.
Can you help if the insurance estimate seems too low?
Yes. Insurance estimates are often written before the car is taken apart. When we find additional damage, we document it and send a supplement to the insurance company for approval.
